Eligibility Criteria for MHT CET Counseling 2024
Here is a detailed description of the eligibility criteria for the counseling process of MHT CET 2024:

| All India Candidates | (a) The candidate should be an Indian National. (b) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects, or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture Engineering Graphics or Business Studies and obtained at least 45 % marks (at least 40 % marks, in case of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together; and The Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET 2020 and should obtain non zero score in MHT-CET 2020 conducted by the Competent Authority. OR (c) Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 45 % marks (at least 40 % marks, in case of Backward class categories Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only). |

Counselling Process for MHT CET 2024
The counseling process for MHT CET 2024 requires the candidates to register. Here is a step-by-step guide for the registration and counseling process.
- Complete the MHT CET CAP registration. The registration link will be updated online.
- Fill in all the necessary details like personal details, contact details, category, qualification details, etc.
- Answer the security questions and create a password.
- Upload all the necessary documents
- If candidates are applying through JEE Mains, they are required to pay an application fee. (No application fee is there for MHT CET-qualified students)
- Print out the MHT CET Counselling 2024 registration form. This form has to be presented at the time of document verification.
- Report to the FC (Facilitation Centres) for verification of documents. Carry all the original documents along with a set of attested copies to the facilitation centers.
- Now, complete the MHT CET Choice filling by choosing the names of colleges and courses according to your preference. This will be open for every round.
- Provisional and final merit list will be published that will contain the list of shortlisted candidates and the seat allotment will be done according to the merit list and the choice filling of the candidates.

Seat Allotment for MHT CET 2024
The seat allotment for MHT CET 2024 will be done through CAP (Centralized Admission Process). The seat allotment result will be announced online on MHT CET’s official website. Candidates can log in to access the seat allotment results. They have to download their MHT CET 2024 allotment letter and report to the centers for the selection process of their preferred option (freeze, float, or slide) for the allotted seat.

Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS) for MHT CET 2024
Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS) is a scheme launched by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), under which up to 5% of sanctioned seats in technical educational institutes are required to provide a fee waiver of tuition fee for eligible candidates.
Only Maharashtra State Candidature candidates are qualified for these seats. Qualified candidates of Maharashtra state whose parent’s annual income is less than Rs. 8 Lakh (from all sources) will only be suitable for TFWS seats.
