The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka has started the COMEDK Counselling 2024 for UGET on 24 May 2024 for qualified candidates. The Under Graduate Entrance Test for Engineering courses was held on 12 May 2024, and the results were announced on the same day. 

The counselling registration and document upload process has commenced for the admission counselling of successful candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for the Registration of COMEDK Counselling 2024

Candidates looking to apply for the Engineering and Architecture undergraduate courses through COMEDK can verify their eligibility using the criteria below:

For Engineering

• Candidates must have passed Class XII/2nd PUC or an equivalent exam from a recognized board with English, Physics, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects.
• A minimum of 45% marks is required in the individual mandatory subjects (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

For Architecture

• Candidates must have passed their 12th examination with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
• Candidates with a 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics as a mandatory subject, securing at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates), are also eligible.
• Candidates must have appeared for NATA 2024 or JEE 2024.

Process of COMEDK Counselling 2024

The steps for the COMEDK counselling process for 2024 are as follows:

• Registration: Candidates must register for the 2024 counselling.
• Document Upload: Candidates must upload their documents for verification.
• Participation in Round 1: After successful verification, candidates can participate in Round 1 of counselling.
• Choice Filling: Candidates fill in their preferred colleges and courses.
• Mock Allotment: The authority will release mock allotment results on the website.
• Acceptance Fee: Candidates satisfied with the seat allocation must pay the acceptance fee and tuition fee to lock their seats and complete the document verification for admission.
• Further Rounds: Unsatisfied candidates can apply for subsequent rounds. COMEDK offers three rounds of counselling, with Round 2 having two phases: one for Karnataka seats and another for General Merit seats.
