A scheme called the Chief Minister Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Entrepreneur Scheme is being implemented to establish self-employment for educated, unemployed youth of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. The implementation of this scheme will be carried out by the Bihar Startup Fund Trust.
Here’s the translation of the provided criteria:
- The beneficiaries under the scheme must be residents of Bihar.
- They must belong to the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe category.
- They should have passed at least 10+2 or Intermediate, ITI, Polytechnic Diploma, or equivalent.
- They should be 18 years of age or older.
- They should be registered under a sole proprietorship firm, partnership firm, LLP, or Pvt. Ltd. Company.
Under the scheme, youth and young women belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes will be provided with a loan of ₹5 lakh without any interest to establish industries and eliminate unemployment.
Additionally, after the selection of applicants, they will also be provided with a grant of up to 50% of the project cost. Furthermore, for training and assistance from the Project Monitoring and Approval Committee (PMA), an expenditure of ₹25,000 per unit will be incurred for all beneficiaries.
