• Students will be provided financial assistance of up to ₹25,000 to purchase laptops. 
• SC and ST students need to score a minimum of 75 percent marks in the same category. 
• More than 30 lakh laptops will be distributed through this scheme. 
• This scheme will provide students access to online courses from home.
• Besides the laptop subsidy, students will also receive a certificate.

Eligibility for Bihar Free Laptop Yojana

To apply for the Bihar free laptop program, all students must meet the following eligibility criteria –

• The student must be born in Bihar.
• The family income of the student must be less than 3 lakhs.
• Students studying in schools in Bihar must pass 10th or 12th grade.
• General category students must score above 85%.
• SC and ST category students must score above 75%.

How to Apply for Bihar Free Laptop Yojana?

• First, visit the official website of the Department of Education, Development, and Labor Resources.
• Click on the option “New Applicant Registration” on the right side.
• You need to fill in your name, Aadhaar card number, email ID, and OTP.
• After that, click on the Registration button.
• Then go back and click on “Log in.”
• Enter your username, ID, and password, and submit the Captcha code.
• Choose the option for the Bihar Laptop Scheme.
• After that, upload all the necessary documents and then submit them.
