The Uttar Pradesh Government has released the UP Scholarship Online Form 2024-25 for state students, available to General, OBC, SC, and ST categories and other minority communities. Two types of scholarships are offered: UP Pre Matric Scholarship 2024 for 9th and 10th grade students, and UP Post Matric Scholarship 2024 for 11th and 12th grade students.

Eligibility Criteria to Fill Out UP Scholarship Online Form

To be eligible for the Uttar Pradesh Scholarship, students must meet the following conditions:

Domicile Requirements

• Only students who are residents of Uttar Pradesh can apply.
• Applicants must be enrolled in a school, college, or university within Uttar Pradesh.
• The institution where the student is studying must be registered on the UP scholarship portal.

Academic Qualifications

• Post-Matric Scholarship (11th and 12th Grade): Students must be in the 11th or 12th grade.
• Post-Matric Scholarship (Beyond 12th Grade): Students must be enrolled in a recognized university or college for undergraduate or postgraduate courses.
• Pre-Matric Scholarship: Students must be in the 9th or 10th grade.

Category Requirements

• Students from Christian, Sikh, Bodh, Muslim, Parsi, and Jain communities can apply under the Minority category.
• SC, ST, OBC, and General category students are eligible to apply.

Income Requirements

• For the post-matric scholarship, the annual family income must be Rs. 2 lakh or less.
• For the pre-matric scholarship, the annual family income must not exceed Rs. 1 lakh.

How to Fill UP Scholarship Online Form 2024?

Eligible students for UP Scholarship 2024-25 can apply online at scholarship.up.gov.in. Follow the simple steps to carefully apply for UP pre-matric and post-matric scholarships.

Step 1: Online Registration

• Visit the official website: scholarship.up.gov.in.
• Navigate to the ‘Menu’ and select ‘Student’ to register for a new scholarship.
• Click on the appropriate link to apply and fill in the required details.
• Create a secure password and submit the form.
• Note down the application number displayed on the screen.

Step 2: Login

• After registration, go to the official website’s homepage.
• Open the UP Scholarship 2024 login page.
• Select the type of scholarship you are applying for and open the corresponding link.
• Enter your registration number, date of birth, and password.
• Complete the Captcha and submit.

Types of Scholarships in Uttar Pradesh 2024-25

The Uttar Pradesh Social Welfare Department provides several scholarships for students from 9th grade to post-graduation, including:

• Pre-Matric Scholarship: For students in classes 9 and 10.
