SSC JE Exam Pattern for Paper 1
The SSC Junior Engineer Paper I is an objective-type CBT with 200 questions and 200 marks. It is divided into three sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning (50 Marks), General Awareness (50 Marks), and the Technical Section, i.e., Civil and Structural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering (100 Marks).

Important Notes for the SSC JE Exam Paper 1
- Paper I: This will be a computer-based objective test.
- Paper II: This exam will have a total of 200 marks and will last for 2 hours (2 hours and 40 minutes for candidates using a scribe).
- Negative Marking: There will be a deduction of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer in Paper I.
- Language: Questions will be available in both English and Hindi.
SSC JE Exam Pattern for Paper 2
SSC JE Exam Pattern Paper 2 consists of objective-type questions with a weightage of 300 marks. Based on your engineering stream, you will attempt one of the following subjects –
- Civil & Structural Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering

Important Notes for the SSC JE Exam Paper 2
- Negative Marking in Paper II: Each incorrect answer will incur a deduction of 1 mark.
