- Attested copies of educational and experience certificates.
- No objection certificate from the competent authority.
- Vigilance clearance certificate.
- Two self-attested passport-size photographs.
Salary Expectations
The selected candidates will receive a pay scale of Rs. 90,000 (pre-revised Rs. 36,600-62,000) per month. Apart from this, the other allowances are detailed below:
- Pay Option: Choose between KDS, SMPK pay scale, or parent organizationโs basic pay plus deputation allowance within one month of joining.
- Deputation Allowance: If opting for the parent organizationโs pay scale, receive 5% of basic pay, capped at Rs. 4,500/- per month.
- Dearness Allowance: Entitled to rates in KDS, SMPK, or parent organization based on the chosen pay scale.
- Cafeteria Allowance: If opting for borrowing the organization’s pay, receive perks and allowances up to 35% of basic pay.
- House Rent Allowance: Receive HRA per Major Port Authoritiesโ rates or parent organizationโs rates based on chosen pay scale; no HRA if provided SMPK accommodation.
- Residential Accommodation: Entitled to SMPK residential accommodation by paying standard rent, HRA not applicable.
- Joining Time Pay & Transfer Travel Allowance: Entitled on joining and reversion, as per rules, borne by SMPK.
- Travel Allowance for Duty: Entitled to TA and DA for duty journeys as per SMPK rules.
Selection Process of SPM Recruitment 2024
Candidates will be selected based on promotion failing which is by absorption/ deputation failing both by direct recruitment.
Period of Deputation
The officer shall be on deputation for a period of 3 years from the date of taking over charge of the post, which is extendable to 2 years. However, in exceptional circumstances, this may be extended up to 2 years, with the consent of 
the lending organization.
