		– First Class or equivalent at Master’s Degree in Architecture/Planning OR First Class or equivalent at Master’s Degree in the area of specialization related to the post advertised.
		AND
		– Significant professional work which can be recognized* as equivalent to a Ph.D degree in appropriate branch.
	Experience	– Minimum of TEN (10) years’ experience in teaching and/or research and/or industry of which at least FIVE (05) years should be at the level of Associate Professor.
		OR
		– Minimum of THIRTEEN (13) years’ experience in teaching and/or research and/or industry.
	Desirable	– Teaching, research, industrial, and/or professional experience in a reputed organization.
		– Published work, such as research papers, patents filed/obtained, books, and/or technical reports.
		– Experience of guiding the project work/dissertation of PG/Research students or supervising R&D projects in industry.
		– Demonstrated leadership in planning and organizing academic, research, industrial, and/or professional activities.
		– Capacity to undertake/lead sponsored R&D, consultancy, and related activities.
Associate Professor	Department	Architecture
	Essential Qualifications	– Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture AND Master’s Degree in Architecture or related discipline with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree AND Ph.D or equivalent in the discipline.
		OR
		– First Class or equivalent at Master’s Degree in Architecture/Planning OR First Class or equivalent at Master’s Degree in the area of specialization related to the post advertised.
		AND
		– Significant professional work which can be recognized* as equivalent to a Ph.D degree in appropriate branch.
	Experience	– Minimum of FIVE (05) years’ experience in teaching and/or research and/or industry, for candidates possessing a Ph.D degree.

		– Minimum of EIGHT (08) years’ experience in teaching and/or research and/or industry in a position equivalent to the level of Assistant Professor/Lecturer for candidates not possessing a Ph.D. degree.
