- Have a domicile certificate of Jharkhand state
- Be either class VIIIth or class Xth qualified from any recognized Board
- Have studied Mathematics and Science group subjects at the qualifying exam level
- Not be younger than 14 years and older than 40 years as of July 1, 2024

Jharkhand ITI Admission Process
Here’s the detailed admission process for ITI trade courses in Jharkhand for the current academic year –
- Candidates must register online on the official website. (15 May to 9 June)
- Provisional Merit List: A provisional merit list will be created based on the information provided during registration. (12 June)
- Editing/Correction: Candidates can make corrections to their application during a specified period if needed. (13 June to 15 June)
- Final Merit List: After corrections, the final merit list will be published. (20 June)
- Seat Allotment & Admission Letter: Seats will be allotted based on the final merit list, and candidates can download their admission letters. (3 July to 19 July)
- Institution Reporting: Finally, candidates need to report to their allocated institutions with the necessary documents and fees for admission. (3 August to 14 August)
What is the application fee for the Jharkhant ITI application form?
Here’s the fee structure for different categories applying for ITI trade courses in Jharkhand for the academic year 2024-25 –
- General/Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Backward Caste โ I (BC-I) / Backward Caste โ II (BC-II): Rs 300
- Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) / Female of all Categories: Rs 150
- Disabled: Nil (No fee)
Jharkhand ITI Merit List for 2024
The Department of Labour, Employment, Training & Skill Development will prepare two types of merit lists for enrollment in ITIs as follows –
Class 8th level merit list
For those trades in which the prescribed educational qualification for enrollment is passing in the 8th class, the merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the eighth (8th) class.
In case of equal marks of two or more candidates, the one whose date of birth is earlier, i.e., who is older, will be given preference in the order of merit.
Class 10th level merit list
For those trades in which the prescribed educational qualification for enrollment is passing in the 10th class, the merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the tenth (10th) class.
If the marks of two or more candidates are equal, the above procedure will be followed to determine their merit.
Note: Those candidates with higher ranks are given preference in selecting their course and study center.
