Eligibility Criteria for Indian Army Direct Entry Havildar and Naib Subedar (Sports) Recruitment

Required Age Limit

Candidates must be between 17.5 years and 25 years old.

Required Educational Qualification

Candidates must have at least a Class 10th passing certificate.

Required Sports Achievements

For Havildar:

• Must have won a medal at the junior/senior level in National Championships or the International level representing the country.
• In team events, must have represented the country in National or International sports events.
• Must have secured a medal in Youth Games, Khelo India Games, or similar events.

For Naib Subedar:

• Must have won a medal in World or Asian Championships.
• Must have won a medal in the Asian Games.
• Must have won a medal in the World Cup/Commonwealth Games (CWG).
• Must have represented India in the Olympics and participated twice in CMG/World Cup/Asian Games.
