Indian Air Force invites Indian citizens (men and women) to avail the opportunity to undergo Indian Air Force Apprenticeship Training 2024 at the Base Repair Depot, Air Force, Pune. Registration for online applications through www.apprenticeship.gov.in will open on 2 July 2024 and close on 25 July 2024.

Indian Air Force Apprenticeship Training 2024 Eligibility to Apply

• Age Limit (as of 1 August 2024)
  • General: 17-21 years
  • OBC: 17-24 years
  • SC/ST: 17-26 years
• Minimum Educational Qualification
  • Passed 10 and 10+2 (desirable).
  • ITI Qualified with a minimum of 65% marks.

Indian Air Force Apprenticeship Training 2024 Trades and Course Number

Reservation for OBC, ST/SC, and other categories as prescribed in section 3A & B of the Apprentice Act 1961, Rule 5 of Apprenticeship Rules 1992 (as amended from time to time) will be applicable.

Medical Standards for Indian Air Force Apprenticeship Training 2024

• Height: Minimum acceptable height is 152 cm.
• Weight: Minimum of 48 kg.
• Hearing: Candidates should have normal hearing, i.e., able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately.
• Dental: Should have healthy gums, a good set of teeth, and a minimum of 14 dental points.
• Health: Should be free from any active or latent, acute or chronic, medical or surgical disability or infection or skin ailment. Candidates shall be physically and mentally fit to undergo the courses in any climate. A valid medical certificate issued by a Medical Officer (Gazetted), as having been medically examined as per medical standards enumerated in the Apprenticeship Act 1961, is to be submitted to Base Repair Depot, Air Force, Pune for scrutiny at the time of the selection process.

During the course, the candidate will be paid a stipend as per the semi-skilled pay structure (Maximum ₹10,500.00) in vogue under Maharashtra Government.

To apply for the Indian Air Force Apprenticeship Training 2024, follow these steps:

• Visit the Official Website: Go to www.apprenticeship.gov.in.
• Online Registration: Find Apply for “Indian Air Force Apprenticeship Training 2024”. Registration for online applications opens on 02 July 2024 and closes on 25 July 2024.
• Fill in the Application Form: Complete the online application form with accurate personal and educational details. Ensure that all required fields are filled out correctly.
• Upload Documents: High School (Class 10) and ITI (NCVT) certificates in relevant trades with a minimum of 65% marks (aggregate). Std XII certificate with a minimum of 50% marks (if applicable). Recent passport-sized colour photograph (size not larger than 50 kb) with a light background and without headgear (except for Sikhs). The photograph should be taken with the candidate holding a black slate in front of the chest with the name written on it in white chalk in capital letters. Left-hand thumb impression. Signature image.
• Submit: Submit your application by clicking on Submit.

Other Important Instructions for Indian Air Force Apprenticeship Training 2024

• Candidate must have a valid e-mail and mobile number for successful online registration.
• Candidates should have their Aadhar Card number handy.
• Candidates are to reach the examination center with a color printout of the provisional admit card. Candidates shall be debarred from appearing in the written exam if irregularities or incorrect information are observed during initial verification at the examination venue or at any subsequent stage of the selection process.
• The selection for engagement of the apprentices will be based on merit, considering the total aggregate marks scored in the selection process. Incomplete applications will be rejected. The reservations for engagement of apprentices will be admissible as per the Apprenticeship Act 1961, Rule 5 of Apprenticeship Rules 1992. The period of training for the individual trades has been specified on the website. Candidates who have already completed/are undergoing Apprentices Training are not eligible.
• No TA/DA will be payable for attending the selection process. Candidates will have to make their own arrangements for stay during the selection.
• Caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC as applicable.
