Salary Expectations

The pay levels for the mentioned positions align with the 7th CPC Pay Matrix: Deputy Director (Level 13/13A), Assistant Director (Level 11/12), Assistant Director – Legal (Level 11), and Section Officer (Level 8). The corresponding approximate minimum gross monthly salaries are:

  • Deputy Director – Rs. 2,46,780 (Level 13A) / Rs. 2,32,380 (Level 13)
  • Assistant Director – Rs. 1,52,640 (Level 12) / Rs. 1,32,660 (Level 11)
  • Section Officer – Rs. 91,080 (Level 8).

Deserving candidates may be placed higher within the pay scale. From the second year, lateral entrants may also receive PRIS at 25% of Basic Pay, subject to eligibility criteria.
