Eligibility Criteria for IBPS SO Recruitment

Here is the detailed eligibility criteria required for the IBPS SO Recruitment –

Post	Education Qualification	Age Limit
Agriculture Field Officer (AFO)	Graduation in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Science/ etc.	One’s age must not be below 20 and above all 30 years, and there will be upper age relaxation for reserved category candidates.
HR/Personnel Officer	Graduate with Full Time Postgraduate Degree or Full-time Diploma in HR related fields
IT Officer	Engineering/Technology degree in relevant fields, Post Graduate Degree, or DOEACC ‘B’ level exam
Law Officer	LLB/LLM and enrolled as an advocate with Bar Council
Marketing Officer	Graduate with Full-Time MBA/ PGDBM /PGDM with specialization in Marketing
Rajbhasha Adhikari	Post Graduation in Hindi with English as a subject or Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects

Selection Procedure of IBPS SO Recruitment 2024

The IBPS SO Recruitment process to select Specialist officers in three phases:

• Online Preliminary Exam: Candidates are shortlisted for the main exam based on performance.
• Online Mains Exam: Qualifying both sectional and overall cutoffs is necessary for the interview stage.
• Interview Process: Conducted by participating banks and coordinated by the Nodal Banks with IBPS

There are two patterns for IBPS SO prelims examination for different posts. There is a sectional cut-off and candidates have to clear all the sections to clear the preliminary exam of IBPS SO 2024.
