Eligibility Criteria for Bihar Watchmen Recruitment

Applicants must have passed the 10th grade from any recognized board. Merit list preparation will be based on marks obtained in the 10th class. In case of equal marks, preference will be given based on the applicant’s age.

Applicants should be able to ride a bicycle, with an exemption granted to female applicants. The age limit is set between a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 37 years for unreserved categories. Age relaxation details for reserved categories are as follows, calculated as of July 1, 2024:

• Unreserved Category (Female): 40 years
• Backward Class / Extremely Backward Class (Male and Female): 40 years
• Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Male and Female): 42 years
